New Baby Card and CAS card class

Hello everyone,

Welcome to Melissa who is a new follower this week. I hope you all had a good weekend and are easing gently into the new week. Our weekend was lovely and included attending a wedding at the Manchester City Art Gallery. At first, I thought it would just be the ceremony in such illustrious surroundings but the whole event took place there with drinks and nibbles in the Pre-Raphaelite Gallery and the wedding breakfast in the Atrium. A great day.

I'd like to share a couple of cards today. The first is a new baby card for a friend's daughter:-

I inked up my PTI Bundle of Love stamps for the first time and can imagine pulling this out lots more.

I've signed up for a Clean and Simple Card course which started yesterday because I love the style but never seem to achieve the look when I try myself, because I never know when to stop adding things! I hope to pick up lots of tips and this was the first assignment for the class:-

I used a PTI Flourishes stamp to create the border with Versamark ink and just punched a few daisies for the dimension. I outlined the inner square with a gel pen but my hand wasn't very steady so it went a bit wonky!

Thanks for looking.

Hugs
Carol x

I love the "clean and clear" look of both of your cards So refreshing to see something that is not all ribboned, buttoned, flowered, sparkled and laced! I'm looking forward to seeing more! Just found your blog today but am having a little problem trying to become a followwer I'll try again later today. HAGD!
