Papertrey Ink birthday card

Hi everyone,

I so enjoyed using black for a card that I played around with another one for the PTI blog hop today. This is a very simple card using a stamp from Harvest Berries. I used pearlescent paint on the leaves and in a thin wash over the double ended banner die cut so the black would show through..

This really quite shiny but the camera hasn't picked that up too well.

Thanks for looking in.

Hugs

Gorgeous! That paint looks amazing. I bet it really shimmers in person.

This card is so striking on my computer. I cannot even imagine how glorious it must look in person.

What a chic card Carol. I bet pearl-ex would work too. You've added just the right amount of the green touches.

I've been out of the blog world for a while with family concerns. It is so wonderful to click and a thumbnail and end up on your doorstep. I'll be coming back to visit some of the posts that have eluded me of late. Thanks for taking the time to share.

Oh wow, love this pearlescent paint on the black ... I'd love to see it in person! How cool that there are no colors on this one.

If it looks better in person than it does in the photo, I can't imagine it! That is gorgeous!
