Lily of the Valley Christmas card

Hello everyone,

I was keen to join in the challenge over at the Holly Jolly Christmas challenge  this week which was to make a card that is inspired by a Christmas Carol. I immediately thought of this cute stamp in my stash from Lily of the Valley stamps which is called Angel Gabriel. It reminds me of 2 carols - While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night and the beautiful old Basque Carol 'the Angel Gabriel' which you can see on this you tube link, sung by All Angels.

I coloured it very simply with Copics and added some sparkle to the stars and angel wings which you can see better in this photo.

I made a frame die cut and cut it in half to make little tabs for the top and bottom of the panel and embossed the greeting in white.

I'd also like to enter this into the challenge over at Moving Along with the Times which is for Christmas Cuties, and into the Christmas in October challenge at Crafty Little Fairies.

Thanks for stopping by
Hugs
