Sorry to have been absent for a while but things have been hectic with celebrations for my Husband's big birthday and it has taken a while for things to settle down around here. However, he has gone off walking in the Lake District for a few days so I have at last had some time to get into the craft room and make a card.
For my card today, I decided to join in this week's challenge over at the Muse blog. The muse this week is the talented Therese Calvird who came up with a lovely card and I was inspired by the colours and layout to come up with this version:-
I used the Papertrey Ink Latte Love set for the focal panel which was cut out with my new Lil'Inker Stitched Rectangle dies that I've been wanting for ages, and I then impressed the panel with the canvas impression plate. This was coloured with Copics using the colours in the muse card and I added a little glossy accents to the heart. I mounted the panel onto some striped paper that was inspired by the stripes on the baker's twine on the muse card.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to get round to catch up with what you've been up to over the next couple of days.
