Lawn Fawn Get Well Card

Hello everyone, its the beginning of another week and and I'd like to start by welcoming a couple of new fellow crafters aboard. First up is Rachel of Inky Fingers are Me, and I obviously share her problem with the coloured digits - well stamping can be messy work! Rachel is a new blogger and is busy trying to set up her craft room, but pop over to see the lovely butterfly card she has on her blog at the moment - so pretty! Our other new friend is Neva of N-Eva. Neva is a fellow Teamie over at Holly Jolly Christmas, but is also on a number of other Design Teams too. Her work is so arty and detailed and she can do wonderful things with dies, so you'll get lots of inspiration when you pop to see her.

I had need of a get well card this week and decided to break out my NBUS Lawn Fawn Get Well Soon Stamps to make a CAS card. Lawn Fawn make such cute little images and I had fun playing around with these.

I stamped and embossed the three images and then coloured them with Promarkers. This set has fun tiny images so I added the red cross and smiley face onto the plaster. I glazed the tablet bottle with a glaze pen to make it look a little more like glass, and also added some to the heart and nurse bird's beak.

I mounted the image onto some red card and used one of the LF Stitched Scalloped Border dies to finish the image off. I finally stamped the sentiment and then ran the panel through my Ebosser with the Papertrey Ink Canvas Impression plate to add some texture, before mounting the image with some foam dots to add a little dimension.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

Cards and more Challenge - get well

I Love Promarkers challenge - three of a kind (3 images and 3 words)

Addicted to Stamps and More - CAS

Inky Chicks Challenge - 3 stamps on a card

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs

PS I'm going to be scheduling lots of post this month because my husband and I will be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary on the 16th. Yes 40 years and never a cross word! Ooops my nose just shot out to the far wall, so sorry if you believed that.  We are spoiling ourselves by having 2 little holidays and a family party so crafting time will be scarce.
