Papertrey Ink Christmas card with Bugaboo image

Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to another Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge.

This time Anything Goes and we are sponsored by

Bugaboo Stamps

and

Di's Digistamps

I wanted to make a card for some friends who had a new baby a couple of months ago, and chose a cute image from Bugaboo for this. I'm way behind but I'm trying to brush up my Copic skills with the Online Card Classes, and I also wanted to try out my new Papertrey Ink Snow Globe Dies, so came up with this shaker card:-

The card, paper and Banner Borders are all PTI, and the snowflakes in the shaker part are from the snow globe die set. I coloured the image with Copics and added some glitter to his hat. The banner and sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.

We have a lot of new Design Team Members over on the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge DT, so why not pop over and give them a welcome!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Papertrey Ink New Home card

Blog-hop-logo

Hello everyone, and welcome. It's time for another Papertrey Ink Blog Hop and this time we were given oodles of inspiration to choose from. You may remember that my eldest son and his girlfriend were buying their first house, and all has gone well so they get the keys tomorrow. I wanted to make a congratulations card for them and was inspired by the colours in this photo

I've had autumn rose for a long time but not used it, so this colour combo gave me an excuse to break it out, and I came up with this card:-

I die cut and stamped the house from Polka Dot Parade 10 in the three colours and mixed them up, before adding a tiny die cut heart to each roof. The scallop was cut from a MFT die and I added some cord through the stitch holes. The autumn rose card was stamped with a canvas background stamp from Impression Obsession, and Versamark ink. I love how items from different Companies go so well together.

They will be receiving this tomorrow along with some Champagne and a these glasses that I etched  a little while ago

to go with a meal I am sending them to have on their first night in the new house. I think I'm just as excited as they are!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the Hop.

Clearly Besotted Halloween card

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I had my birthday on Friday and the celebrations have been going on all weekend, so I am feeling very lucky to have a such a wonderful family and a great bunch of friends. I even had time to sit down and make a card this afternoon when I was banished from my kitchen, so I decided to play along with the current challenge over at Clearly Besotted where Stephanie has asked us to come up with an autumn or Halloween card. I have had Steph's cute little Magician stamp for ages but not had an opportunity to ink him up so I thought he would make a great Halloween card.

I stamped him, coloured him with Copics and then cut him out with the PTI Tipped Tops Dies. All Magicians should sparkle a little, so I added some Wink of Stella glitter to his robe and the broom handle.

I finished the card off with a trail of stars cut with the Simon Says Stamps Confetti die.

As this little chap had not been used before, I'm going to enter him into Darnell's NBUS challenge, and as the theme is Halloween, I will also play along again at Addicted to Stamps and more - Holiday.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Avery Elle/Papertrey Ink Christmas Peace card

Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to another challenge over at Holly Jolly Christmas blog. Today the challenge is to use ribbon or lace on a card and we are sponsored by

QKR
QKR Stampede

and
Lacy Sunshine

I came up with this card using ribbon for the bow on the fawn's neck:-

I took a panel of blue card and white embossed the snowflakes from PTI Snowfall stamp set, and then cut a curved hill with the Simon Says Stamps Curve die. The fawn is from the Avery Elle Storybook stamp set and I die cut and coloured him with Copics. I wanted him to be looking up at something in wonder so I found a Nativity Star in the Silhouette store and cut it from silver mirror card. The beautiful sentiment is from PTI Snowflake Serenade stamp set. A little glitter on the hillside finished it off.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Congratulations card

Hello everyone,

We have been having beautiful weather in my neck of the woods which makes for lots of cheerful people even though we are coming to the end of summer. My husband is away for for 5 days so I have been taking a holiday from cooking and just eating what I like, when I like, which is bliss. I am continuing with my whole house declutter, and I think my car could make its own way to the refuse tip by now. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now. It might only be a pinprick but it is there!!

All these things have been keeping me out of my craft room, but I had to come back to make a congratulations card for a lovely young woman who has had remarkable exam results after having a lot of ill health this year. In spite of having lots of time off school, she was determined not to fall behind and worked extra hard when it would have been easy to let her health problems win. Her determination really paid off and she can now start her A Level Courses with her head held high.

I decided to mix up a lot of sentiments from My Favorite Things, Paper Smooches and PTI to create a focal panel and came up with this:-

I was so pleased to get a run of sentiments that said what I wanted to say, and that I could mix up the colours to make a bright card that I hope will appeal to her. I used a superstar theme and used the PTI Confetti Die along the side and cut her name out on my Silhouette Cameo. The large stars were were stamped and cut with the Star Prints set and I scattered lots of tiny stars across the panel which were cut with a Simon Says Stamps die. It's a bit hard to see but I stamped and  clear embossed a background star stamp from Impression Obsession on the base card.

Darnell is celebrating her 600th follower by having a challenge to use Never Before Used Stuff and I as I inked up my PTI Wet Pant sorry Paint stamps for the first time for this card, I'm off to play along. Congratulations on yet another milestone my friend!

I'd also like to enter this into the current Path of Positivity Challenge  which is 'Determination'

and the Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge which is to mix things up for the Stamptember blog hop.

I have been so busy that I haven't had chance to visit for a while, and I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms, but I'm hoping to get round to see what you've been up to tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by.

Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge. I can't believe we are into September already and I don't want to frighten you, but do you realise we only have 16 weeks to go to Christmas?
