My Favorite Things celebration birthday card

Simply Create Too

Hello everyone and welcome back to Simply Create Too for the first challenge of the year. Our first challenge is nice and open giving you lots of scope to use any new crafty goodies, if you were lucky enough to get some for Christmas. My eldest son and his girlfriend bought me the MFT Blueprints 17 die set, and as it was his birthday just after Christmas, I couldn't wait to open it up and create this card for him.

The 'Let's celebrate' sentiment was from MFT Chalkboard Greetings and the stamp underneath it is from Papertrey Ink Stylish Sentiments: Birthday. I cut the name for the banner on My Silhouette Cameo. I'm not very good at masculine cards but I was quite pleased with how this one turned out!
Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs

Hi Carol, for some reason I can't leave a message on your blog using my blog link????? I've noticed this on a few blogs just recently, not sure why but I have dropped by and I love your card ;)

How cute is this? I really like the chalkboard message on the chalkboard. What a cool Christmas gift from your son's girlfriend. Does she make cards too? Love the metal edges on the top-they make the chalkboard look so real!! Awesome job on this beautiful card!!
