Silhouette Cameo and Papertrey Ink Christmas card

Hello everyone and I would like us to welcome Marina from My Perfect Life blog who is joining us as a new follower this week. Marina is on a number of Design Teams and has a very eclectic style so whatever design style you like, I think you'll find some inspiration over there. Like many of us Marina has a stash of unused stamps and she has resolved to empty the box over the coming year. All I can say is Good Luck with that plan Marina, but I suspect that if you are like me, new stuff will creep into the box when you aren't looking and the pile will  refuse to diminish!

It's time for another challenge over at Christmas Card Challenges and this time we challenge you to use mainly white on white.

I was inspired by a number of cards I have seen on Pinterest that use rows of white hearts with just one red one, and I decided to adapt this style for Christmas. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out lots of little white baubles and I stuck them in rows before adding a little die cut snowflake on each line. On the bottom line I added one red bauble and placed the sentiment beneath it.

I had a hard time lining the baubles up but I love that pop of red, and I added a little gem on each snowflake to finish it off.

Why not pop over to see what the rest of the Design Team have to show this time - I think they have outdone themselves this week!

This is amazing! I love that you used the christmas baubles for this technique. I am also amazed that your silhouette was able to cut that small. I have a hard time getting mine to cut out things that are that little-even with a new blade. Amazing design!!

Your white on white is so elegant and gorgeous. How did you ever get them lined up so perfectly? Great job, and I do love that pop of red.

What a really super and original card. I know, I know !! one of those that look soooooooooo simple.... but there is no hiding place for 'crafters' mistakes. It has to be perfect alignment. And certainly one of those cards that make you want to try. Love clean and uncluttered cards.
