Penny Black and Clearly Besotted Christmas card

Hello everyone and welcome to the challenge reminder over at Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge. We are halfway though our 'Sparkle' challenge, but you still have a couple of weeks to play along.

I'd like to share this card

I started by die cutting a stitched circle from the red panel and stamped and embossed the sentiment from Clearly Besotted 'Most Wonderful' stamp set. I then stamped and embossed the dangling ornaments and sentiment in a red sparkle embossing powder. The ornaments are from Penny Black 'A wish for peace' transparent set but the sentiment is from my selection of unlabeled stamps, so if anyone recognizes it, I'd love to know what it is! I finished the white circle off by adding faux stitches with a red glitter gel pen, and added a couple of green hearts that have been coated with WOS clear pen. Does anyone else have trouble capturing sparkle in photographs?

We'd love you to play along this month and if you pop over to the Happy Little Stampers blog you will be able to catch some more inspiration and also find out about the fabulous retreat that Kylie is planning to hold in the UK next year.

Thanks for stopping by

Hugs

This is such a festive and wonderful Christmas Card! I have just started using the WOS pens and find it hard to capture the sparkle too. I am lucky, though, that I get a lot of natural light in my house and can just turn my card toward the window to get some sparkle (most times). xx

Carol, this is a beautiful Christmas card! Those stitches looks so real I had to read to find out you drew them.
