Sue Wilson Heart of Hearts and Papertrey Ink Anniversary card

Hello everyone, and welcome to Challenge #126 over at Simply Create Too where our theme this time is 'Anniversary'

Our Blog Badge

I came up with this card

1) Take a piece of glossy cardstock and sprinkle with a mix of orange and red Brushos, and silver Pixie Powder. Spray the powders with water and watch the colours burst until you are happy with it and then let it dry.

2) Take a panel of white card and die cut the inner part of the Sue Wilson Heart of Hearts die into the card. Take the glossy card and cut the inner die again, and then use the 2 outer dies to cut a frame.

3) Apply some double sided adhesive film to the back of the white panel and inlay the red hearts, then adhere the frame around them.

4) Stamp the sentiment from Papertrey Ink Think Big Favourites #24 in black ink and add a couple of red hearts around it.

5) Die cut a scalloped strip of black card and attach it to the white panel along with a thin strip of the glossy red card, and mount everything onto the base card on fun foam for dimension.

We have lots of inspiration over on the SCT blog and I hope you will play along with us this month.

Love this card Carol. The red and white really makes the card pop! I've not tried Brushos yet but they look amazing.

I am really losing it. How did I miss this? STUNNING design. I need to get some of these Brushos and give it a try. The paper you created looks so cool against the white!!
