Crafter's Companion and Woodware Christmas Gatefold card

Hello everyone, and welcome to the October Challenge Challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge

Themes

U –  Unlimited not limited or restricted
So, in other words, Anything Christmas Goes

V- Vibrant

Our sponsor this time is

Freckled Fawn

and there will be a prize from me

Craftwork Cards Build a Bloom stamp set and a pack of Handmade paper Tags and Ribbons.

Well I decided to combine the two themes this time with a vibrant colour scheme and  3 separate panels in a double gatefold card

1) Cut 3 black mats, one for each panel and adhere them to the card. Cut some red patterned paper and mat that onto the right-hand front panel.

2) Stamp and emboss the enormous stack of presents from the Personal Impressions Huge Stack of Presents stamp set and colour with alcohol pens. Once it is dry, go over the ribbons and holly berries with a clear glaze pen. Fussy cut the image and then stick the presents onto some black paper and fussy cut around it to make a mat. Stick the image to the panel with some foam tape.

3) Take a piece of white card and repeat stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Woodware Christmas Ribbon stamp set, with red ink. Cut this down and adhere it to the left-hand panel. I've had both of these stamp sets for years and it was good to give them some attention for a change!

4) Die cut a stitched square from the patterned paper and layer it on the black mat.

5) Die cut the Christmas Time die from the Crafter's Companion Scandinavian Christmas line in white card and put a piece of red card behind it. Rase this on fun foam and adhere it to the centre.

You'll see how the rest of the DT followed the themes over on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog, and you have until 30th October to share your card. I hope your stack of Christmas cards is growing - not much time to go now!!!!
