Happy Little Stampers Dandelion Wishes, make a wish card

Hello everyone and welcome back to another challenge at Happy Little Stampers. This time it is the Watercolour Challenge and our optional twist is CAS

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER, YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

I came up with this one layer card

1) Mask off a circle on a top folded card. I used a circle stencil rather than a paper mask because I was going to use watercolour.

2) Smoosh some Oxide distress ink in Broken China and Picked Raspberry onto a non-porous surface and spray with some water. Mix it in and then paint in the aperture- pink at the bottom and blue at the top, leaving a little purple where the colour blends. It's amazing how vibrant the colours remain even after being watered down!

3) When it is dry, stamp the dandelions from Happy Little Stampers Dandelion Wishes using black Versafine ink.

 4) Stamp the make a wish ( from the same set) inside the circle and the rest of the sentiment outside it.

As usual, if you hop over to the HLS blog, you'll find lots of inspiration from my talented teamies, and you can also link up your entry there. We also have Helen joining us as a guest designer this month and you will find her gorgeous card on the blog.

I'd like to go and play at

Beautiful background for those pretty silhouette dandelions. The sentiment is perfect with it too. I remember blowing away the fluffy seed carriers and making a wish.

I am loving the background you gave your dandelions Carol! It's so beautiful, like an evening sky. The silhouettes of the dandelions looks so good against it and speaking of the dandelions, I am loving them! I am one of few who love dandelions no matter what state they are in. I love the bold yellow flowers against the deep lush spring green grass and I love the puff balls to blow. lol My neighbors aren't happy with me as my dandelions are here to stay! Hugs, Brenda
