Embossed Christmas Card for Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Hello everyone and a specially warm welcome to Diane at 1cardcreator  who is joining us as a new follower this week. I'm here today for another challenge over at the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

                                           Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

This week we are sponsored by Fitztown and the challenge is to use embossing on a card. I decided to use both dry embossing and heat embossing and came up with this card

I used a Paper Smooches Borders 1 die to cut the top panel in two and then embossed the top part with a Design Objectives snowflake embossing folder. I added some glitter and gems to the top panel before heat embossing the Papertrey Ink sentiment in Scarlet Jewel on the bottom panel. I curved the 'sending Holiday Joy' sentiment on my acrylic block before embossing it in white on the Scarlet Jewel card base. Finally, I added the top panels to the base with foam pads, leaving a gap for the sentiment to show through.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges

Christmas at Sweet Stamping - glitter
Completely Christmas - anything goes
52 Christmas Card Throwdown - glitter
Sparkles Christmas Challenge - inspired by a song ( Deck the Halls - Tis the season to be jolly)
Christmas Card Challenges  - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by and why not hop over to the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge and join us this week. Go on - you know you want to!!!

Hugs
Carol x

Absolutely beautiful. I love the curved borders and how you curved the sentiment. The scarlet jewel paper is so pretty against the white. Fabulous card!
