Lawn Fawn Scalloped Easter Treat Box and Sue Wilson Easter card

 

Hello and welcome to the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

This time we are looking for projects for any occasion and although I'm a little late with this, I wanted to share my Easter makes with you.

For my Easter card, I used the Bright Rosa Elongated Hexagon dies to create my card base and layers. I stamped the background with the My Favorite Things Balloon Strings stamp.

The other elements on the card were made with 2 Sue Wilson Easter die sets. The little chick comes facing to the right but I cut another, turned it over, and used a ball tool around the edge before adding the features so it could face the other way.

You've seen my Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box before for Halloween and for a New Home gift, so as I have to find plenty of use for it, here it is again as an Easter gift box with some little eggs inside. They were place setting decorations for Easter Sunday lunch so everyone could take one home.

I had quite an assembly line going with all those little die cuts that I cut in white and coloured with alcohol markers. A very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours!

MFT Strike up the Band kraft birthday card

 

Hello everyone and welcome to the ATSM birthday challenge. It's our 9th birthday so cause for lots of celebration and thanks to Kylie for organising everything so well.

I'm still at sixes and sevens with the reroofing going on long beyond the schedule and am not sure if I'm coming or going!

Anyway to my celebration birthday card

I used the MFT Strike up the Band stamps and dies, which are perfect for a summer birthday, and had the little mice play up a storm as they march across the card. They were coloured with Copics and I added some white gel pen.

The background card is one of my favourite design from Bright Rosa and I cut into it with an insert die before backing it with kraft polka dot paper for Papertrey Ink.

Bright Rosa and Gemini Balloons unisex birthday card

 

Hello friends. I hope you are all well and staying sane in this grim and scary winter. I am starting to see encouraging signs though!  Snowdrops are open and daffodils and tulips are on their way so along with the promise of the vaccinations, I am hopeful that spring will soon be upon us.

I'm here to tell you about the third ATSM challenge of the year 

and here is my birthday card.

I used Crafter's Companion Gemini Balloon Celebrations stamp and die set for this card along with the Bright Rosa elongated Hexagon die set for the card shape.

The balloons were simply stamped, die-cut and coloured before being added to the inked and layered background. I added one of the sentiments to the balloon and a large Papertrey Ink sentiment at the bottom. I really like this Bright Rosa die set and have used the card shape in a different orientation on a couple of other cards before, here and here. I just cut around the hexagon in those to eliminate the extra card.

Bright Rosa and MFT Birthday Cake Dienamics birthday card

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge over at Simply Create Too

Our challenge this time is to make a shaped card

I came up with this card which was destined for my son's partner. I used a Bright Rosa Elongated Hexagon die and backed it with pink card.

The birthday cake is from My Favorite Things and the sentiment is an old one from Papertrey Ink.

MFT Santa's Elves and Bright Rosa Christmas card

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Christmas Challenge at Happy Little Stampers. How did we get to September so fast!!! Although you can make any Christmas project for our challenge, we do have a fun twist to get your creative juices flowing and this time our theme is 'elf'.

I came up with this card

I used the new elongated hexagon dies from Bright Rosa to create the card shape and just trimmed off the ends to give this shape. The die set includes the inset snowflake die and I really like how it looks with blue paper behind it.

The other elements are from the My Favorite Things Santas Elves set and I coloured the elf with Copic markers.

You will find lots of Christmas inspiration over on the blog and I hope my Teamies and I can tempt you to get on with some Christmas makes now that the year is whooshing by so fast.
