Sue Wilson Thank you Friend card

Hello everyone and I hope you are looking forward to a fun weekend. To start it off, we have a new challenge over at Simply Create Too

It is a colour challenge this time and we are asking you to use pink and brown on a card. I was chuffed to bits when I saw this one because I think these two colours go beautifully together and I couldn't wait to get started.

I started by cutting a square from brown textured card and then used one of the Sue Wilson Noble Classic Adorned Squares dies to cut out the centre. I then placed a square of  pink card behind, so it shows through the flowers, before cutting one of the larger dies in pink card and placing that on top.

For the stamping, I used a Happy Little Stampers 'Thanks' stamp from the Doodled Flowers set,  and heat embossed it in white. I had fun arranging the words along the bottom of the card, and I very nearly got the line straight after about 10 attempts lol! They are from the Avery Elle Simply Said: Amazing set. This set is quite fancy so I thought it demanded a bit of bling, so a few glitter dors finished it off.
