Papertrey Ink and Penny Black new baby card

Hello everyone and welcome to our ever-popular anything goes week over at Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge,

I needed a quick new baby card and came up with this one to welcome baby Hazel.

I ignored my ever-increasing NBUS pile and did a deep dive into my stash. I came up with an old set from Papertrey Ink that has been in my stash since 2008! It isn't a new baby set but is all about birds and is called Birds of a Feather. I used the nest, eggs and just hatched sentiment from this set and added a couple of Penny Black die-cut birds that I cut in white and coloured with ink.

The swirly welcome baby sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Borders set, and the embossed circle is from Sara's Signature Little Angel collection.

Mama Elephant Wish Upon a Star baby card

Hello and welcome to another challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More, and this time we have our Clean and Simple Challenge.

I came up with this card.

I used the Mama Elephant Wish Upon a Star stamp set and stamped the cute bunny moon image onto a wonky stitched rectangle, then coloured it with Copic markers. I actually messed up the colouring but I had already stamped the sentiment and little stars and didn't want to throw it away, so I stamped and coloured it again on some scrap card. I fussy cut the image and added some glitter to the tail and star before sticking it over my messed up image. I left the top part of the bunny unglued but added a tiny bit of foam tape to give a bit more depth.

Lawn Fawn Plus One and Papertrey Ink Stitched Sentiments new baby card

Hello everyone and welcome to our ever popular anything goes challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

Lots of my daughter's friends have been having babies lately so my stash of baby cards has been raided by her and needs replenishing.

I used the Lawn Fawn Plus one stamp set for the stork (fussy cut), and the leaf spray is from a Papertrey Ink set called Stitched Sentiments. I went over the leaves with a glue pen and added some very fine glitter which sparkles nicely irl, but hasn't been picked up very well by the camera.

A stitched frame and a scattering of some tiny hearts finished it off.

Papertrey Ink Sweet Baby and MFT baby thank you card

Hello and welcome to another challenge at Simply Create Too

This time the challenge is to use real or faux stitching and I came up with this CAS design which I used as thank you cards for gifts given to my baby Granddaughter.

1) Die cut a stitched rectangle from white card and die cut an aperture from it using the My Favorite Things Pekaboo Rectangle die. Stamp the sentiment below the aperture using Tropical Teal ink

2) Take a piece of white paper and stamp the Papertrey Ink Basic Background: Twinkle stamp on it using PTI Hawaiin Shores ink. 

3) Stamp and die cut the elephant from Papertrey Ink Sweet Baby stamp set using the teal ink.

4) Glue the stamped paper onto the base card and raise the stitched rectangle over it using fun foam.

5) Adhere the elephant in the aperture and finish off by adding a little red heard and some black Nuvo Drops for his eye.

Here is another card I made using the same design but with the giraffe from the same set.
