Simon Says Stamp Birthday Borders and MFT Blueprints 33 birthday card

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

This time we have our Make Your Mark week, so we are looking for how you make your mark with alcohol pens, paints, chalk, watercolours, stencils, sponges, masks etc etc.

I made a quick, colourful birthday card using rainbow colours.

I used some NBUS from Christmas Simon Says Stamp Birthday Borders and My Favorite Things Blueprints 33.

The background paper is from Crafter's Companion and I simply coloured the candles with Copic markers. I die cut some hearts for the sentiment and added glossy accents to finish it off.

I can't wait to see how you make your mark this time.

I'd like to play along at

Good morning Carol,

Your Birthday card is a delight, I love the fresh and modern feel to and at the same time you have incorporating the rainbow of colour which I think it would fit any age group or sex. Thanks so much for joining in the spirit or our 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' theme at Stamping Sensation challenge this month.

Beautiful birthday card, Carol ! I did not count the candles (just because at a certain age we prefer not to count ;-)) but I love all the pretty rainbow colors that they make. They are perfectly matched to the pretty pattern paper background. Love it !

Hi, Carol! Such a brilliant use of chevron patterns by alternating not only the colors, but the beautiful "stripe" look. And "all those" candles, I can see how fun it would be to add way too many, or just a few. The coloring in your flame is vibrantly happy, and so are all the coordinating colors! wishing you a great week-end. hugs, de

Love the pretty soft colours with the pop of red in the sentiment. I like how you changed the 'o' to hearts, its such a great effect. Thanks for stopping by my blog and being kind enough to leave a comment, I appreciate it and I hope you have as much fun with your peas as I've had :) x

I really like this design Carol and it's beautifully coloured. The wind has dropped, the temperature is warmer, Ginger cat is sitting on a chair in the garden... I think Spring is definitely on her way... Enjoy!
