Lawn Fawn and Creative Expressions Easter egg card

Hello everyone, and welcome to the next challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

This time we have our Any Occasion Challenge, and, even though Eater has passed for this year, I have the Easter card I made for my granddaughter to show.

As soon as I saw this Lawn Fawn Easter Egg Backdrop die, I had to have it, and I'm so pleased with how it turned out. I cut the die in white card first, and I love the fact that it has a stitched edge that gives a framed effect. I added some Crafter's Companion paper behind the eggs, and backed the flowers with coloured card bits from my box.

The large egg and sentiment were cut with Sue Wilson dies from Creative Expressions, and it fit perfectly in the aperture. The panel was then stuck onto an A2 card base.

The design team has some great inspiration for you on the ATSM blog, and it would be lovely to have you join us.

Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box Spring add on Easter card

Hello everyone and I hope you had a lovely Easter. We had a joint celebration for my youngest son's birthday and Easter Sunday so it was a bit hectic with the whole family and 2 young dogs added into the mix!

I'm pleased to say we're ready for another challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More and this time we are looking for cards to celebrate any occasion.

I went for Easter and made this country cottage card for my 5-year-old Granddaughter, Alice

I'm really getting into dies at the moment and had fun mixing a couple of Lawn Fawn Die sets ( The Scalloped Treat Box and Spring House Add-Ons), along with a very old grass die. I cut all the dies, apart from the roof and bunny, in white off-cuts and coloured them with Copics.

I made the sentiment in Word and added it to a little banner.

You'll find lots of inspiration over on the ATSM blog and you can enter your project there too!

Lawn Fawn Scalloped Easter Treat Box and Sue Wilson Easter card

Hello and welcome to the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

This time we are looking for projects for any occasion and although I'm a little late with this, I wanted to share my Easter makes with you.

For my Easter card, I used the Bright Rosa Elongated Hexagon dies to create my card base and layers. I stamped the background with the My Favorite Things Balloon Strings stamp.

The other elements on the card were made with 2 Sue Wilson Easter die sets. The little chick comes facing to the right but I cut another, turned it over, and used a ball tool around the edge before adding the features so it could face the other way.

You've seen my Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box before for Halloween and for a New Home gift, so as I have to find plenty of use for it, here it is again as an Easter gift box with some little eggs inside. They were place setting decorations for Easter Sunday lunch so everyone could take one home.

I had quite an assembly line going with all those little die cuts that I cut in white and coloured with alcohol markers. A very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours!

What occasion will you go for? You'll find lots of inspiration over on the blog and I hope to see you in the gallery.

Sue Wilson Easter Basket Easter card

Hello everyone and welcome to Addicted to Stamps and More! This time we have our holiday week for you.

As Easter will be our next holiday, I went with an Easter basket card

I used Sue Wilson's Easter Basket and Happy Easter die sets for the card and an old Waltzing Mouse Easter stamp set for the sentiments. The grass is from a Lawn Fawn set. There is only one little chick in the set so I did a reverse die-cut to have one looking the other way.

You'll find plenty of inspiration from the team over on the ATSM blog and I look forward to seeing which holiday you will choose for your card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sue Wilson Happy Easter cards

Hello everyone and welcome to the holiday challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More

I don't make many Easter cards but I did make a couple this year, and I'd like to share one that I made with just die cuts! Yes - I know. My wonderful stash of stamps was woefully neglected in the making of this card.

1) Take a 7 x 7-inch base card and mat some yellow card onto it.

2) Cut a smaller square of white card and emboss it with a Cuttlebug folder. Sorry, there doesn't seem to be a name on it and I have lost the packaging.

3) Take the Sue Wilson Fillables Collection Happy Easter die set and cut the egg frame in white card and adhere it to the embossed background.

4) Die cut the egg in yellow card and raise it on some fun foam before fitting it into the frame.

5) Die cut the greeting in white card and stick it on the egg.

6) Die cut some eggs and arrange them in the corners, then finish off by die cutting the bow from the set and stick it above the large egg.

You will see a variety of holidays covered by my talented teamies over on the ATSM blog, and we'd love it if you shared a holiday card with us this time.

Easter Bunny card

Fairy tale challengeblog

Hello everyone and welcome to the Fairytale Challenge Easter Blog Hop. I am still guest designing for the challenge and this time the theme is 'Many Colours'.

I chose to make an Easter card with lots of fresh colours, so I cut out a little bunny on my Silhouette Cameo to use as a mask, and I then stamped multicoloured spots around it so that when I removed the mask, you could see the bunny silhouette.

I used the Papertrey Ink Polka Dot Parade #1 stamp set for the sentiment so the spotty theme continued and I added a strip of paper from the Sparkle and Shine pad along the side of the card, along with a strip of pink card.

To celebrate the blog hop I will be giving one randomly chosen commenter a little Easter gift of some Crafty Bitz embellishments,

and the winner will be announced here and on the Fairytale Challenge blog a couple of days before the next challenge begins. Some of the other DT members are offering little gifts too, so do stop by to see them

Mama Elephant Up and Away Easter card

Simply Create Too

Hello everyone, and welcome to another challenge over at Simply Create Too. We are halfway through the current challenge which is to make an Easter and or Bunny card, and I came up with this one:-

I used the very cute Mama Elephant Up and Away stamp set and stamped in black Versafine ink and then embossed with clear powder. I stopped using black embossing powder some time ago because no matter how much I swiped the card with an anti static pad, I always got some stray powder on my card, and black dots really show up. With the clear powder you really don't notice the odd stray dot or two,

I coloured the bunny with Copic markers and stamped the sentiments which come from the Waltzing Mouse Spring Baskets set. I stamped and coloured the umbrella on a separate piece of card, added some polka dots with a tiny spot stamp, then fussy cut it and raised it on foam tape to give some dimension. I matted onto orange card die cut with the Lil'Inker Designs stitched rectangle dies and then added a little white gel pen and some Wink of Stella to the umbrella and Bunny tummy to finish it off.

Waltzingmouse Stamps Easter card

Hello everyone,

I've just popped on with a quick post to share an Easter card I made with Waltzingmouse stamps.

I stamped and embossed the eggs along the side of the panel and  watercoloured them with ink. I then stamped, and watercoloured another egg, cut it out and covered it with glossy accents. I stamped the sentiment and little flourish, added a few hearts and fixed the panel to the base card before adding the extra egg with some foam tape.

I used the colours from the current Dynamic Duos challenge

and was inspired by the photo inspiration over at Addicted to Stamping with the zigzag eggs

I'd also like to enter the Casual Fridays challengel which is

Cricut gift bag and Waltzing Mouse Easter card

Hello everyone,

Its the 17th of April so its time for the Waltzing Mouse Blog Waltz although hop might be a better term this month because everyone is thinking Easter and that makes you think of bunnies right? Anyway do take time to hop round all the players in this months waltz and you're sure to find lots of inspiration.

My contributions for this month are:-

As its Easter I chose a yellow card base and stamped the rectangle frame from Frame It and placed the Happy Easter in the gap. I then stamped the pedestal basket from Spring Baskets in Versamark and embossed it in white before colouring it with a brown Copic marker. Next the daffodils were stamped, coloured and cut out to place in the basket. I used a score board to emboss a frame around the stamped frame to give a little more texture, tied some ribbon and mounted the panel onto the card base. Another sentiment and a corner embellishment finished it off.

I decided to make some gift baskets to hold some little chocolates for the Easter table and I used my Cricut to cut out the bags, panels and tags and used WM Spring Baskets for the focal points.

The bag and tags were cut with Bags, Tags, Boxes and More and the panels and chicks were from Just Because cards.

and here is one with the Easter card I posted some days ago. The colours do not match but they are not meant to go together. I've just discovered that these offerings will fit in the Get Creative April 1st challenge and the ABC DT challenge

All this thinking of bags for choccies is giving me the munchies so roll on Easter Sunday!

Thanks for stopping by.

Cricut Easter card

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying the weekend and finding some time to get inky. We are having gorgeous springtime weather in Manchester and people are really friendly when they pass you in the street. Have you noticed how sunshine cheers people up? It certainly makes me feel happy.

I've been making some Easter cards and I'd like to share one that I made with my Cricut machine.

I cut the card base in cream card from the Wildcard cartridge. I love the cut of this pretty card with the unusual folds and delicate edging. I then matted some layers in Hawaiian shores and aqua mist and used a punch to nip out the corners. Next came a basket stamped on cream card from Waltzing Mouse stamps

which I coloured with Copic markers and mounted onto the panel. The cute little chicks came from Just because cards and I cut them at 2 1/4 inches. I flipped one so they could cuddle up to each other, added some eyes with pen and chalked some rosy cheeks on them. The sentiment also came from Waltzing Mouse and I finished the card off with a little white ribbon that I coloured with a Copic marker so it would match the basket.

Thanks for looking in and for all the lovely comments you have been leaving. I really do appreciate them - in fact they make my day.

Hugs
