Hello everyone.
I'm back for the latest challenge at
and we have 2 letters for you this time.
S is for Stocking
and/or
T is for Tree
Helen is our lovely host this time, and she has a lovely prize for the lucky winner.
I used a Penny Black die set called Stocking Stuffers for this one. I die-cut watercolour paper and coloured it with Zig watercolour markers before adding the greenery and branch. The background was cut with a Spellbinders die, and I embossed it with a star embossing folder.
T is for Tree
For this card, I used the Lisa Horton Nested Tree Frame die set. I painted some watercolour paper with a couple of green shades, and when it was dry, I die-cut the tree parts in the different shades. I embossed one of the trees with a snowfall embossing folder to add some texture, and then assembled them. The snow is cut from Spellbinders glitter foam, so it has a little sparkle IRL. For the background, I masked off a hill shape and then painted the sky using some blue distress ink. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp sentiment sheet.
The DT members have some lovely inspiration for you over on the ABC Christmas Challenges Blog, and we'd love you to join us this time.
I'd like to play along at
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
