My Favorite Things and Lisa Horton robin Christmas card

Hello again, and welcome to the August challenge at ABC Christmas Challenges.

Our themes this time are

P is for Pastel Colours.
Q is for Quick
and/or
R is for Robin

I went for R is for Robin

I cut a Lisa Horton scalloped oval die and inkblended on it with blue and green ink before using a snowfall stencil to add the snow. The robins are from a My Favorite Things stamp set called Winter Birds, and I coloured them with pencils before fussy-cutting them out. The branches were found in my leftovers box, and the sentiment is from an old Lawn Fawn set.

Altenew Just Jasmine greetings card

Hello everyone. I hope you had a lovely Easter and are enjoying the spring weather, if it is spring in your part of the world. We are starting another challenge at Addicted to Stamping and More, and this time you can pull out any colouring medium you like to make your mark.

I came up with this CAS design

I used the Altenew stamp and die set called Just Jasmine and used Copic pens and coloured pencils to colour it.

I inked inside a rectangle mask to frame the image, and also inked the scalloped mat with the same colour ink to coordinate.

You will find lots of inspiration on the ATSM blog, and you can link up your entry there too.

Poppystamps Woven Basket and Spellbinders pop up birthday card

Hello everyone, and I hope you are well. We've been enjoying some fabulous spring weather in my neck of the woods, so I'm glad I made this card a little while ago, allowing me to get out and enjoy it while it lasts. Our new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More starts up today, and this time we are looking for you to use die cuts and/or stencils.

I used both on this pop-up card

I used the Poppystamps woven basket pop-up die set to create the card, and for the basket, I left the die in place after cutting and inked some brown ink through it to highlight the basket weave.

I lightly stencilled some blue ink on the background before filling the basket with flowers and leaves from a couple of Spellbinder sets.

I used the sentiment from MFT to create the stopper and finished off with a bow.

As always, the DT has some great inspiration over on the blog and I look forward to seeing your entries if you decide to join us.

Mama Elephant Reindeer and Decorate the Tree Christmas card

Hello everyone and I hope you are well and happy.

Well, the year has whooshed by and we have come to the final challenge of the year at ABC Christmas Challenges.

This time the themes are

Y for Your favourite colours
and/or
Z for Zoo animals

I love traditional colours at Christmas so I went for mostly red and green.

I used a couple of Mama Elephant stamp and die sets - Reindeer and Decorate the Tree. After stamping and die-cutting the elements, I coloured them very simply with Copic markers and arranged them on the card. I found the mat in my leftovers box and can't remember which die was used to cut it. I must finally get around to organising my dies next year!!!

To finish off I added a silver star to the top of the tree and added some gloss pen to the light strings.

We have a ton of inspiration for you over on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog and it would be lovely to see your festive cards in the gallery.

Spellbinders Sweet Blooms Border Rocker Christmas card

Hello everyone and welcome to a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

This time we want to see you make your mark with any colouring medium you choose and I came up with this card

I found the foiled flower image in my snippets box where it had been placed because some of the foiling had gone wrong. They reminded me of a Christmas Lily so I coloured them with Zig watercolour markers and cut out the best section with a die from the MFT Stitched Arch Stax dies. Because of the shape, I decided to make a circular rocking card with circle dies. The sentiment is from the Clearly Besotted Most Wonderful stamp set.

I'd like to play along at

I forgot to take a photo of the foiled snippet so I deserve to be given lines 😟

Papertrey Ink Quilled Elegance birthday card

Hello everyone and I hope you are well. Welcome to the new Birthday Challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

I used some old stamps from Papertrey Ink called Quilled Elegance for a CAS design and I really like the modern look these little hearts give.

I stamped and embossed the image and then coloured it with Copics before going over it with a glitter pen and die-cutting a stitched rectangle around it. It was too plain, so I impressed it with a PTI Linen Impression Plate to add some texture.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and the scalloped rectangle is from one of the MFT Blueprints die sets.

Clearly Besotted Thinking of you card

Hello everyone and welcome to the next challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

I'm back from my hols and finally got some time to spend in my craft room to make a card for our Make Your Mark Challenge.

I used the lily stamp from the Clearly Besotted Thinking of You stamp set and embossed it in black ink. I coloured initially with Copic markers and then added coloured pencil shading and added the dots with a brown fine liner pen. I kept the layout simple - I just cut the panel and scalloped rectangle with some dies from the MFT Blueprints sets.

This is one of those cards that can be useful for several occasions depending on what you stamp inside, so I think I'll keep it in my stash until I need a sympathy or get-well card.

Over on the ATSM blog, the DT has lots of inspiration for you, and you can post your entries there too.

Honey Bee Holiday Bells Chrsitmas card

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

This time we have our Christmas Challenge

and I came up with this card.

I used my NBUS Honeybee Holiday Bells dies and cut them out from different shades and silver mirror cards before layering them together to create the pretty pair of bells and the bow. I used a textured card with a slight sheen, which looks very pretty IRL. I placed the bells on the white card which I cut with the MFT Chain Oval Frame die but left the fallout piece in place and stamped sentiment from Papertrey Ink. This was all placed on a stitched rectangle mat and then on the base card.

As always, my talented Teamies have some great cards to show you over on the blog and you can link up your entries there too.

Penny Black Stocking Stuffers and Spellbinders Sugarplum Tweets Christmas cards

Hello crafty friends and welcome back to another challenge over at ABC Christmas Challenges.

We had a tremendous response to our January Challenge with 158 entries! You submitted some fantastic designs so please go to the blog to see if you were a winner if you joined us.

Our host this time is the very talented Lynda from Loopylou

and she has this fabulous prize for the winner

Our themes this time are

C is for Checks
and/or
 D is for Die Cuts

I came up with these designs.

C for Checks

For this card, I stamped and white embossed the All Lined Up Background stamp from My Favorite Things onto a piece of kraft card. I then cut a white panel using the MFT Stitched Scallop Basic Edges die. The bird is from the Spellbinders Sugarplum Tweets die set and the sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

D for Die-Cuts

For this card, I cut the panel from some cream card, and before I removed it from the die, I inked around the edges with some brown ink to give a vintage look. I then stamped some sprigs and swirls around the card and stamped the sentiment from an old WPlus 9 stamp set called Pretty Patches.

I took some watercolour paper and painted on some red ink so I had a textured base and then cut the stockings and heart from it. The foliage and stockings are from the Penny Black Socking Stuffers die set and the heart is from my stash.

We've had some wonderful weather over the past week - cold but sunny and the best part is that it isn't dark at 3.30pm any more. I smell spring in the air!

Anita Jeram Stay Curious and Mama Elephant general multi use card

Hello everyone, and welcome to another challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More. This will be the last challenge of the year but it will be back after Christmas. I hope you are all well and if you are in the UK, I hope you are coping with the VERY strange political times we are in!

This time we have our Make Your Mark Challenge so we'd like to see you use your inks, paints, markers, pencils etc.

I came up with this card

I began by stamping the NBUS image called, Stay Curious from Colarado Craft Company, colouring it with Copics and fussy cutting it out.I then lightly inked the background with Distress Oxide inks. I die cut some white card with the Papertrey Ink Aztec die and then die cut the aperture with one of the My Favourite Things Stitched Arch Stax dies.

The sentiment comes from the Mama Elephant Up and Away stamp set and I decided to use this so the card could be adapted for many occasions depending on what I decide to stamp inside. I like to keep a few cards like this in my stash so I can quickly come up with a card in an emergency. I used one of the green Copic pens to provide a layer that matched and then mounted everything up using some foam tape for dimension.

As always, my talented teamies have some fabulous inspiration over on the ATSM Blog, and you can link your card up over there if you decide to join us.

My Favorite Things Better Together new baby card

Hello everyone and I hope you are all well.

I'm back to tell you about the new challenge just starting over at Addicted to Stamps and More

This time we want to see a card for any occasion, giving you plenty of options to join in this time. I came up with this new baby card.

I started by creating the background with a cloud stencil for the sky and I reversed it at the bottom to give a loose impression of waves for my boat to sit upon.

The sweet image is from My Favorite Things a fairly recent release which I couldn't resist and is called Better Together. I stamped and coloured it with Copic markers before cutting it out on my Scan n Cut. I raised it and placed it on the card before adding some glossy accents to the portholes.

I finished off by adding the sentiment from the Welcome Wagon set from Paper Smooches and layered up the card.

As always, my talented teammates will knock your socks off with their inspiration cards over on the blog, and I hope you will join us this time.

Mama Elephant Stems and Sprigs and Sue Wilson Basket birthday card

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. Yay - it's our 10th birthday so we are in party mode and I'd like to thank Kylie for all her work to keep this awesome challenge going!

This time we want you to make your mark with any colouring medium you choose, so break out your supplies and have some fun.

I came up with this 5 x 7 card.

I'm really liking teal at the moment so it features in this one. I stamped, die-cut, and coloured (with Copics) a lot of little flowers and leaves from the Mama Elephant Stems and Sprigs set and arranged them in a basket cut from kraft card with a Sue Wilson die.

I placed the basket on a mat cut from the MFT Blueprints 33 die set and matted it onto a Waffle Flower scalloped rectangle die. The sentiment is from a Happy Little Stampers set and I white embossed it onto a banner shape before tying it onto the basket with some twine.

We've just got back from holiday where we spent a week in a country cottage with our daughter and her dog. We had a lovely relaxing time before coming back to empty our kitchen ready for a much-needed refurb. How could a small kitchen house so much stuff!!! I feel a good clear-out coming on.

My talented Teammies have some great cards to show you over on the ATSM blog and would be delighted to have you visit them.
