Crafters Companion and Penny Black Christmas card
Hello and welcome to another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More
We have our Christmas Challenge this time, so I came up with this card.
I used an old and underused Crafter's Companion snowflake embossing folder and inked one side with distress oxide ink. This left the snowflakes white, and I was quite pleased with their texture after embossing them. On this occasion, I used heavy watercolour paper and I'll try that again, but I made the mistake of die-cutting the stitched rectangle after emossing, which flattened the snowflakes a little.
The sentiment is from Penny Black. I cut it several times in white card and once in navy and stacked it to give a chipboard effect. I pressed a Versamark inkpad over it and triple clear embossed it, which gave the glossy finish I wanted. The camera didn't pick this up well, but you can see it better in the small photo at the top.
We're continuing to have wonderful weather in my neck of the woods but my gardening husband is concerned that the lack of rain is affecting the lawn and plants in the garden. I wonder if we need to consider more drought-tolerant plants if this trend continues. That would be a big change for Manchester's reputation of being a rainy city!
As always, my talented Design Team friends have inspiration cards for you to see on the ATSM Blog, and you can link up your entry there, too.

Crafter's Companion Snowman and Honeybee Christmas card
This time we have
C for Cute
and/or
D for Die-Cuts
For this quick one, I cut a square of blue glitter card and added snowflakes cut with the Card Making Magic Dashing Through The Snow die set. The corner was cut 4 times and placed around the edges of the card to frame the Simon Says Stamp sentiment.
There is a lot of inspiration on the ABC Christmas Challenges blog and you can add your card there if you want to join in the fun.

Crafter's Companion Reindeer and snowflake Christmas cards
Hello everyone,
I hope you are well and getting some time to play over the summer. Despite the recent hot sunny weather, I've been making Christmas cards which, I admit, does feel a bit odd, but I know I will be pleased when they're ready to be posted in December. The ABC Christmas Challenge keeps me on track to grow my pile of cards and today we are starting another challenge:-
P for Pink
and/or
Q for Quarters
and/or
R for Rudolph
Our lovely Mummylade is hosting this challenge and she has this cute prize of 2 Fizzy Moon stamps for the winner
This is my R for Rudolph card
For this card, I dipped into my patterned paper stash which doesn't get much use these days, but I was pleased to find some pink snowflake paper to form the background. I die-cut a variety of snowflakes from a darker pink card which has a nice sheen to it, and added them to the card to frame the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. I added gems to the snowflakes for a finishing touch.

Penny Black Sleigh Ride Christmas card and Crafters Companion Penguin Christmas card
These are my offerings:-
H for hats
For this card, I used the cute Crafter's Companion penguin die, and cut 2 of them, decorating their hats and scarfs in different colours. I stood them in little ice flows from the MFT Polar Pals stamp set and the lower sentiment came from the same set. The background was created by blending a couple of blue inks and adding some splatter.
and I for Inky

I blended several blue inks for this one and then used the Memory Box Pinpoint Burst Impression Plate to add texture. I sprayed the panel with Crafter's Companion Sparkle Spray and although it isn't showing up well in the photos, it looks pretty IRL. The added white splatter was made with watered-down Gouache paint.
The image was stamped with the Penny Black Sleigh Ride stamp set and coloured with Zig Clear Colour Pens. I fussy cut the image and added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to Rudolph's nose.
The Design Team has lots of inspiration over on the ABC blog, and I look forward to seeing your entries if you decide to join us this time.
I hope you are all safe and warm and that Storm Kathleen, which has been buffeting us here today as I write this, hasn't had a big impact on you.

Penny Black Christmas Berry card
Hello everyone and Happy New Year. I hope it will be a happy, healthy and peaceful one for you and the world.
As it's the start of a new year, it must be time for another ride through the year with ABC Christmas Challenges
'A is for Anything Christmas'
&
'B is for Berries'
Our lovely host, Helen has a great prize for the randomly chosen winner
I went with B for berries and came up with this card
I used a Penny Black berry die and inked it up in red and green before adding Nuvo Crystal Glaze to each berry. This glaze dries really nicely to give lots of dimension to the berries. I ink-blended the panel and sprinkled white ink on it before placing it on a snowflake-embossed base card.

Spellbinders Stitched Joy Christmas Card
Hello friends and welcome to another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More
This time we have our Christmas challenge which is great as we are all trying to get as many cards into our stash as we can prior to the hectic start of December.
I came up with this card

Crafters Companion Build a Snowman Christmas card and Papertrey Ink and Altenew Jingle Christmas card
S for'Snowmen'
&
T for 'Three of a Kind'
I have a Crafters Companion Snowman stamp and die set that is really sweet and I pulled it out to make my card. While I was looking at the head of the snowman, I decided to experiment with my Altenew Stampwheel and make a kind of wreath with the head. I was just playing and wasn't sure how it would turn out
