Sue Wilson Easter Basket Easter card

Hello everyone and welcome to Addicted to Stamps and More! This time we have our holiday week for you.

As Easter will be our next holiday, I went with an Easter basket card

I used Sue Wilson's Easter Basket and Happy Easter die sets for the card and an old Waltzing Mouse Easter stamp set for the sentiments. The grass is from a Lawn Fawn set. There is only one little chick in the set so I did a reverse die-cut to have one looking the other way.

You'll find plenty of inspiration from the team over on the ATSM blog and I look forward to seeing which holiday you will choose for your card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
Carol x

What wonderful dies. I like your shading in the background. So nice to see a WMS stamp used; I miss that little company!

A fun idea to reverse the die cut and have the two little chicks. What a fabulous Easter card, so pretty and so textural x.

This is a beautiful Easter card Carol, I am so loving that basket. But your cute little Easter scene is what I am really loving. Good idea to flip the chick to have one looking the other way. Those eggs are great too-loving your color combo! Gosh, it will be Easter before we know it! But I am so ready for spring!! lol Hugs, Brenda

Such a sweet Easter scene, Carol ... beautifully detailed ... the 'glow' you created around the basket with the background sponging is fabulous ... and the sentiments are just lovely! Hugs, Anita :)!

Hi Carol, what a sweet and colorful Easter card! I just recently bought my first Sue Wilson dies and they came all the way from UK in the mail to me in Texas. It's an apron and baking utensils that I have not seen anywhere else so had to have them. Brilliant of you to do a reverse cut for the other chickie. XOX

So many little eggs--wow! This is just adorable & how clever to do the reverse die cut so they could face each other!
