Apple Blossom and Papertrey Ink Birthday Superstar card

Hello friends and welcome. This is just a quick post because we are at sixes and sevens over some storm damage over the weekend. Roofers are in short supply so we are going to have to wait our turn, but the leak has stopped and the internal damage will be fixable once the roof is sorted out.

Anyway, you are here for the new ATSM challenge and this time we have our ever-popular anything goes week.

I came up with this card

I used an Apple Blossom stars and stripes embossing folder and cut it in half to create the base card.

The Papertrey Ink Superstar die was cut in pink and brown card, then offset and inserted between the base card and the sentiment strip.

You'll find lots of inspiration over on the ATSM blog and we'd love to have you join us this time.

Thanks for stopping by

Hugs
Carol x

What a terrific card!! The design is amazing and so beautifully done! I'm sorry about the storm damage, we got off quite lightly, there have been some trees brought down and one man was killed walking his dog but another storm is on it's way. We have had even more break-ins and that is worrying us at the moment... It's a scary world we live in huh? I hope you don't get anymore damage... Take care

I sure pray you got your roof problems all fixed Carol and aren't still waiting for someone to come. That just stinks to have those problems! Especially if your weather has been as wet as we have been here. Your card is AMAZING! I'm all but speechless! I am so loving the embossing, the stars and stripes are so fun and give such texture to this card. I love how you have it shape to the opening and sentiment. Love the larger pink stars layered with the brown-so striking and then the added tiny stars on the embossing. I'm in awe of this card my friend! Hugs, Brenda

This card is a real stunner in pink and white with that gorgeous embossing on both sides! Loving the curvy divider in the center too! Hoping you soon have your storm damages fixed - it's been a horrible season of storms, fires, and floods for so many this year.
