Papertrey Ink King of the Grill unisex birthday card

We have another Challenge starting today over at Addicted to Stamps and More and this time we are looking for CAS designs

As it is summer and perfect barbecue weather, I came up with this masculine birthday card but it could be unisex too because I love a good burger!

1) Cut a rectangle of white card and stamp it with the sentiment from Papertrey Ink Stylish Sentiments: Birthday stamp.

2) When the ink is dry, impress it with the Papertrey Ink Canvas and Linen Impression Plate.

3) Place a strip of striped paper on the edge of the base card along with a thin strip of black card and add the impressed panel.

4) Stamp the burger from Papertrey Ink King of the grill in different colours and fussy cut it. Stamp and die cut the bun and raise it over the burger with foam tape.

5) Mat the burger onto black card and fussy cut around it before adding it to the card.

6) Finish off by adding the little pickle on top of the bun.

As usual, there is plenty of inspiration over on the ATSM blog, and I hope you will play along with us this week.

I'd like to play along with

The Cats Pajamas #349 - birthdays

Crazy for CAS #8 - Summer

Penny Black and More August Challenge - something beginning with B - burger, black

Addicted to CAS #142 - masculine

Thanks for stopping by.

  6. A super card Carol, a fabulous burger image. This would be perfect for my youngest son - we always joke that we can't visit a restaurant if it doesn't have a burger on the menu!
