Silhouette Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

I hope you have been having a good weekend. I have had a busy one, but I wanted to pop on line to share a card with you. I have been trying out my Silhouette Cameo and I'm slowly learning the software functions and coming to grips with all it can do. I have to say I am very impressed so far with the quality of the cuts. The Silhouette shop is very easy to use, and they have such a lot of shapes available that I have taken out a subscription so I can collect the ones I like over the year. I've yet to try the print and cut, and the fabric cutting but I'm looking forward to playing with those features soon. If you know of any good blog sites for the Silhouette, do please share because I need lots of tips. I'm starting very slowly so I made a simple birthday card using a cupcake shape:-

The sentiments are from Papertrey Ink Signature Greetings and  Enjoy the Ride. Mmm, chocolate cake with raspberry icing- one of my many favourites!

Thanks for looking. Have a good week.
Hugs

  3. This is stunning Carol, I love the idea of the silhouette, but the downloading of shapes etc. scares me because I'm not very technically minded! I made my little box for my cards - very simple basic template using cardstock for the bottom & acetate for the top :) xxx

  4. Beautiful card Carol. I have the silhouette SD and found the forum on UKscrappers invaluable when I first got it - and still do when I forget what to do!
