Thank you card for Papertrey Blog Hop

Hi everyone,

Thank you to Stella and Onecraftymama for your advice over my Blogger problem. I have taken your advice and installed Chrome which has done the trick.

I'm sorry my series on the CAS course stopped so abruptly but life got in the way again and although the course is now over, I hope to finish it over the next few weeks. I really enjoyed trying other peoples techniques and I've decided that I must try casing more because I'd get a lot more cards made without waiting for inspiration to strike me!

Today is Papertrey Blog Hop day and this month "we are challenging you to pick your favourite project from 2011 and share it with all of us!  To take it a step further, you are also challenged to create a second card that is inspired by the favourite project you select.  Your new version of an old favourite could carry over the colour scheme, the layout or the stamp sets."

I picked this card that I made last year because I loved the colours and the use of the sentiments

Because I didn't have much time, I just copied it in another colour but with a plain star this time as my daughter asked me to make this for her but she didn't like the multi coloured star.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy all the inspiration you find on the hop today.

Hugs
Carol

Love both of these adorable cards. I love the colors you used, and the way you combined the sentiments. Hope your computer woes are over, and great job on your cards! ;-)

These are both wonderful cards. I'm thinking you used Star prints, which I don't have, but might need. I think I like the second better--agree with your daughter, but really, would be quite happy to receive either for my birthday! Well, I am several lessons behind in class, too--also because of life--but I am determined to finish at some point, as I must get my money's worth.

Tw0o gorgeous cards. Love the rainbow star, but I do think the single color one is a bit more elegant. Awesome job with both.

Yep! Good choice! I do like your first card as well, but the second one even better, 'cause the colors are more coordinated and I always love that! The sentiments are surely perfect here, very nice!!
