Papertrey Ink birthday card

Hi again,

Two posts in one day???? It's because I loved the PTI inspiration photo so much, I was inspired to try another card using those colours.

For this one I used Botanical Silhouettes and the Half and Half die and sentiments. I wanted to mat the half and half die shape so I cut the mat in half and stuck it behind the focal panel. This left a gap at the bottom which I covered with that gorgeous button.

I cannot remember using berry sorbet before but I've discovered I love it and it will certainly be using it again. Now I'm off to start hopping myself.

Hugs
Carol x

What a clever way to layer the half & half dies! Your card is lovely! I need to get out my Botanical Silhouettes set--- it's a little neglected!

So pretty Carol and I love your creativity with the die cut! The bit of inking on the white card stock really adds a super touch!

Both cards are wonderful, but I prefer the softness of this card just a teensy bit better. Clever use of the die for matting.

Super card, and that is a brilliant idea about matting the die. I'm glad you showed it--I never would have guessed.
