Lily of the Valley Christmas card

Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a good weekend so far. We are going to a wedding tomorrow but have a quiet day for a change today, so I made a card for the new Festive Friday challenge. The theme this week is to make a card with a children's theme and I inked up my new little bunny stocking stamp from Lily of the Valley stamps for it. I also used the colours for this week's theme at the Winter Wonderland challenge which is to use red and green and I hope my pastel greens count.

I stamped and coloured the cute bunny stocking using Copic markers and added some glitter to the white parts. I then cut a circle shape around it, inked the edges and placed it on a pale green scalloped mat. For the background I cut a square of pale green card and stamped it with a star background stamp. I made a couple of tiny tags for the sentiment

I stamped one with a little snowman and this is partly hidden by the top tag so that an exploring child can get a surprise.

The scalloped mat was placed on pop dots to give a little dimension, and a little red bow finished it off.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hugs
Carol x

What a coincidence... I was actually hoping for a stocking full of LOTV cuteness for Christmas... Wonder if I can get away with dropping hubby some subtle hints, or whether I'll need a sledgehammer, lol.

Lovely card! I adore the colour :-)
