Lawn Fawn Happy Wedding card

Hello everyone, and I hope you are having a good weekend. My daughter and I have been planning the  itinerary for our holiday to America next month but I found time to make a wedding card using the cute Happy Wedding stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I've been wanting to join in the Lawnscaping challenge for ages and this time the theme is 'sparkle and shine', so I thought this was the ideal opportunity to play along.

I used the MFT Blueprints 23 set to cut the circle  apertures in the stitched rectangle panel and embossed the sentiment and dotted heart in silver powder. I made masks for each of the the sweet little figures  and applied them after stamping so I could add the chalked background with Pan Pastels. I used Copic markers to add some colour and shadows to the figures and then used WOS to add some sparkle to the flowers in the Bride's hair. I cut the scalloped border out of pink glitter card and raised the whole panel on foam tape to add some dimension. To finish it off I drew a plus and equals sign with a Copic Multiliner pen. This photo doesn't show the sparkle but you can see it a bit better in this one

I'd also like to play along with

Scrap and Craft challenge - celebrations

Stamps & Fun - circles

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the weekend. I'll be glued the the men's final at Wimbledon with my Pimms and strawberries!

Hugs

Hi Carol, What a delightful wedding card. Love these little windows with the progression of the images culminating in the 'togetherness' one. Such cute images too. Pretty borders with the stitching, and loved the glitter that shows so well on the last image. On the blogger error, yes I have googled, as it seems others are posting the problem in forums. However, the one fix that I sort of understood, involved downloading some program - and if I don't know the safety of the site or the program, I don't do that. For now I can just X out of it, it's not stopping me, just annoying! So pleased to see you are planning to come to America. Hope you will enjoy your visit to our country, and are going to see some of the wonderful country here in the USA. Lots of splendid places to visit. Hugs & TFS.

Hi I've stumbled across your site and love this card! Just wondering where you got the bottom sentiment stamp -"To the Bride and Groom..."- from?
