Hello everyone and welcome to the June Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge, and the theme this month is 'twine'
I bet you have some twine in your stash - it seems much more popular than ribbon these days, so why not pull it out and join in with us this time. I had lots of baker's twine and I decided to use it to make a wreath for my card
I started by cutting a circle frame with a couple of Spellbinder circle dies, and I coated each side with some 2 way glue. I threaded the twine onto a needle and began going round the frame as if I was making a pom pom. I went round 2/3 times and ended up with this:-
I took a panel of white card, embossed the sentiment from Happy Little Stampers Mixed Christmas Sentiments in red, and then passed it through my Ebosser with the Papertrey Ink Canvas Impression Plate. I added a strip of patterned paper and a thin strip of red card and then raised this on the base card with some fun foam.
I added some red and white pearls to the wreath, stamped and fussy cut a bow hanger, and arranged this over the wreath to finish it off.
Why not go over to the Happy Little Stampers blog to see some inspiration from the team before pulling out your twine and joining in with us this month.
I'm taking my card to play at

A brilliant use for twine Carol, your wreath is so clever!! Love the addition of the border too, a lovely touch. The men in my life bought me a Tassimo a few Christmases ago and if I am feeling indulgent I really enjoy the caramel macchiato...yum!! xx
Love this fantastic twine wreath. So very clever and festive.
I love your idea on this card. When I saw her for the first time, I was enraptured by it. A beautiful wreath and perfectly matched side border strips. Great idea.
Hugs, a nice Sunday.

Love the way you've interpreted the Twine theme to make this lovely red & white wreath. Adding the 'ornaments' created so much extra dimension to an already beautiful idea. The striped border is delightful with the white card front, drawing the eye even more to the splendid wreath! TFS
