I love the richness of gold when paired with black so I took some ancient textured shiny gold card from my stash and die cut the baubles and bows from Clearly Besotted Ornamental Style dies, and cut some strips of gold card for the hangers. The sentiment was cut from the Paper Smooches Merry Christmas die.
I put the die cuts on a panel of black card and added a couple of die cut stars to the baubles. This panel was matted onto gold card before being raised onto the base card with some fun foam for dimension.
For the inside, I die cut a piece of white paper with a die from MFT Blueprints 1, and stamped a sentiment from PTI Over Under Easy: Holiday Additions stamp set.
I can't believe we are more than halfway through the year already, but my little pile of Christmas cards is growing. How about yours? Why not hop over to the Happy Little Stampers blog to see some inspiration from the team, and join in with us this month. You will find some talented new members over there, so I hope you will give them a warm welcome.
