Altenew Versatile Vases, Prettiest Pomanda and Papertrey Ink Modern Background stencil birthday card

Hello friends and welcome back to another challenge at ATSM

This time we are looking for creations that use die cuts and stencils, and I came up with this card. Nothing says happy birthday like a bouquet of flowers!

To start off I stamped the vase and used the accompanying masks from Altenew to colour the water with pale blue ink. I then covered the vase with the mask and created the background by inking the white card rectangle with yellow ink and then used a Papertrey ink stencil to randomly add some little stripes. I flicked on some gold ink and then black ink before adding the sentiment.

Stems were added to the vase and then I turned to the flowers. These used a layering stamp set called Prettiest Pomander and this was stamped and die cut and placed over the vase. To finish off, I added some white gel pen dots to the flowers and added the panel to the base card.

We have the talented Janny of Janny's Card Creations with us as Guest Designer this time and you can see her lovely card and lots of inspiration from the DT over on the blog. Why not pull out some stencils and dies, to play along with us this time?

We have been enjoying lovely sunny weather over the past few days and although the tender spring plants don't like the overnight frost we've also been having, the sunshine has really cheered me up. I hope that you are all keeping well.

I'd like to play along at

Hugs
Carol x

As you say, nothing like a beautiful sunny day to cheer up! Likewise, your beautiful bouquet also brings joy with these pretty spring colors. We have also had very good weather here for a week, it gives us a little hope in these uncertain times ...
