Sizzix Hedgehugs and Lisa Horton birthday card

 

Hello everyone, and welcome to a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

This time, you can go to town with whatever colouring medium you like to produce a card for our challenge.

I have had these cute Sizzix Hedgehogs in my stash for quite a while now, and I decided it was time to pull them out and ink them up.

This is a very simple card. Just a little ink blending for the background, the addition of a couple of sentiments, and a stitched square die to make a mat. The hedgehogs were stamped, fussy cut, and I added some gloss to the nose and feet with a black glaze gel pen. The mat was placed on a Lisa Horton Bubble die cut, and a couple of tiny butterflies finished it off.

I love autumn, so the arrival of September is always good for me. I always look for something new to try too - I think it is the start of a new academic year that does it. Are you trying anything new?
