Spellbinders Joy Christmas card and Papertrey Ink Mistletoe Christmas card

Hello friends, and welcome to the new challenge at ABC Christmas Challenges.

This time there are 2 themes,

U for Uncluttered

and/or

V for Vertical

If you want to join us, you can choose either theme, or both if you need to get working on your Christmas pile.

I came up with these cards using older things in my stash that needed some love, as I haven't used them in a long while.

U for Uncluttered CAS

I stamped and die-cut the mistletoe from Papertrey Ink and added a bow from Clearly Besotted. The sentiment is also from Clearly Besotted. I used a Papertrey Ink canvas impression plate on the background card to add a little texture, but keep an uncluttered look. To finish off, I added some tiny pearls as berries.

V for Vertical

For this one, I cut a stitched rectangle and some pretty paper and layered them onto a DL card base. I used the Spellbinders vertical Joy die, cut from red card and added it to the base. The die set has small flowers and leaves, and I cut several of these and added them here and there. For the JOY letters, I cut several white ones for stacking so they would stand proud of the base, and topped them with some red holographic card to make it pop.

I'd like to play along at:-

Farm Quest Country Christmas Challenge #25 - country Christmas card

The Holly and Ivy Challenge #193 - Anything Christmas goes

A Cut Above Challenge October - anything with a die cut

Neglected Stuff Challenge 10/25 - papers and dies have not been used in a long time

Thanks for stopping by,

Hugs,

Carol x

Two beauties Carol and great inspiration for me, I just working on a card with Mistletoe and about to use a white pen for the berries but the little pears work so well. I also have the Joy die, still in the pack so might crack it open.

Two beautiful Christmas cards Carol. Love the CAS design with the bright green mistletoe and bright red sentiment. Your vertical card is so pretty, especially with the holographic red lettering that shimmers and shines. xx

Both cards are amazing, Carol!!! Thank you so very much for sharing them at FQCCCB!! The mistletoe is lovely and those tiny white pearls for the berries were perfectly placed! The holly leaves and berries scattered around "JOY" also made a spectacular card! --Becca
