Papertrey Ink Birthday card for May Blog Hop

Hello everyone,

Its the 25th May so its time for the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop and this time we were asked to use flowers in a project. Well everyone likes flowers don't they?  I certainly do and judging by the number of flower stamps I've got, I must love them to pieces! Well when I got them all out I was a bit paralysed by the choice of what to use so I put them all away again and decided to randomly pull a set out and go with that, and this was the result:-

I used a plain white card base but inked it softly with raspberry fizz ink to take away some of the starkness. Then I made a couple of layers of white and pink card and on the top layer I lightly stamped polka dots in ripe avocado

and then randomly stamped some little flowers over the dots

I cut a tag in white and again inked the edges and stuck it down with pop dots to give some dimension. Next came die cut leaves from Delightful Dahlia and Beautiful Blooms 2 and they were stamped with their matching stamp before being shaped a little and put on the tag with a button in the centre. The sentiments came from Signature Series Flower and Birthday Basics.
