Today I had some happy post from Ann at love making things
Thank you so much Ann. I love those gorgeous dresses on the card you made and I will definitely be putting the stamps and dies to good use as I try to get on with my Christmas cards. Ann has such an interesting blog and I recommend that you visit her if you haven't already found it.
I played around with my Silhouette Cameo today and came up with a couple of Christmas cards using a gingerbread man shape.
I cut some gingerbread men shapes out of Kraft card and drew on some features with a white gel pen and added some red bow ties cut on the Cam. Rather than just sticking them onto a card, I decided to cut a panel to go over them so there would be some dimension and they could be peeked at through the negative space
A sentiment, a flourish and some little hearts finished it off. I did ink the panel to take away the starkness of the white.
I made another version using aqua mist card and some little stars instead of the hearts
I'm going to enter this into the current Inspire me Friday challenge- anything goes,
the Through the Craftroom Door challenge - anything goes,
and the Creative Card Crew challenge which is to use a star.
Thank you for stopping by.

Very sweet card, I really like that the gingerbread men are recessed into the next layer, it looks very neat!
Oh, so adorable, Carol! I have Sihouette Envy!!
I love the way you embedded these cute gingerbreads into the negative panel! What a great look! And those tiny red bow ties? L.O.V.E.
How did you colour the white paper?
