Papertrey Ink Christmas tags

Hello everyone,

Blog-hop-logo

Today is the day of the October Papertrey Ink Blog Hop, and Nichole asked us to make a set of 5 Christmas tags. I was going to try making a set of identical tags but decided it was more fun to mix it up a bit and came up with these.

This was simple stamping and matting onto Tag Sale 3 die with a little glossy accents to finish off.

Again some die cutting and stamping onto Tag Sale 4 with a little Wink of Stella pen on the scrolls to bling them up a bit.

I had a bit more fun with this one. I started with Tag Sale 7 cut in white card and I masked of a circle for the moon before using a versamark pen and clear embossing powder to make some snowflakes. I then inked over the card with a couple of distress inks and stamped the ferns from Bells and Boughs. I used the In the Meadow die to create the snow line and covered it with glitter to make the frosty looking snow. I finally added a baby deer cut on my Silhouette Cameo, and finished it off with ribbon.

A very CAS tag made with Tag Sale 5 and one of the words from the Wonderful Words Holiday set.

Another simple tag using Tag Sale 7 and one of the the Photofinisher dies. The stamp is from the 2009 Holiday Tag Collection.

Well that's all for today - enjoy the hop, and thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
Carol x

Each of these captures a different aspect of Christmas. They're wonderful, especially the little winter scene you created.

These are all sensational, Carol! I think I like the black and white ones the best ... no wait, the deer ...no wait, the circular wreath ...! Awesome job; I know they took some work! Don't worry about not being able to play in MUSE. Thank you for being peeved that you couldn't, however! Have a wonderful weekend with your daughter - that's WAY more important!! Hugs! Darnell

I forgot to thank you for your compliment on my canvas print. It is a bit over the top but I like it more and more each day!
