I hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend and that the weather is being kinder to you than it is to me. We've been having a busy weekend with running a Quiz Night on Friday, singing with our choir yesterday and a 70th birthday lunch today, but I had started a card for the Merry Monday challenge and I just finished it off before I have to go out. The challenge was to use a Santa image and I decided to go with this image from Papertrey Ink. It isn't the usual jolly, fat Santa but reminds me of the Orthodox Church one and I really like him.

I coloured him with copic markers and used scarlet jewel ink for the sentiment. I used the canvas impression plate to give the panel a bit of texture, and added a bit of sparkle (although it is hard to see in the photo) with my Wink of Stella brush pen. Mat stack dies were used to frame Santa and some scarlet jewel ribbon finished it off.
