Hello everyone and welcome to the December Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge where our theme this time is 'wreath'.
I started by stamping and white embossing the foliage wreath from the wonderful WPlus9 Woodland Wreaths stamp set onto Papertrey Ink Ripe Avocado card. This stamp set has a matching berry stamp, and I stamped and embossed this with red glitter powder to add some sparkle, on top of the white foliage. I also stamped several of the leafy boughs and red bows. The stamp set has a coordinating die set which would make the next step much easier, but I decided earlier this year to not get the dies for every stamp set I buy ( in a sadly futile attempt to reduce my craft spending!), so I then took all my wreaths, boughs and bows and spent a happy 20 minutes fussy cutting them out.
I mounted my wreath onto some pretty PTI paper and stamped the red greeting from PTI Think Big Favourites #20 underneath before layering it up on the base card. To finish off, I stamped and die cut the banner from Simon Says Stamps Holiday Folded Banner set and adhered it across the wreath, and although it hasn't photographed well, I added some glitter to the stars on the patterned paper for some extra sparkle. By the way, the red layer on the card isn't actually a layer but thin strips of card butted up to the patterned paper. I love the PTI pure poppy card but it is very expensive to post card from the USA so I have to conserve my supplies!
Why not head over to the HLS blog to get some more inspiration for those last minute cards. You'll also get some inspiration if you jump over to Kylie' blog where she is hosting a 12 days Christmas Cards Challenge.

Love the way you stamped and heat embossed in white on the green cs! A great switch from stamping in green on white! And I love the glittery berries!
Hi Carol! Oh your card is beautiful! I love the banner across that pretty wreath ... Stay warm!
A beautiful wreath! Love the white over the green with the tiny red berries, and must look up this product. It's made a wonderful CAS card with loads of texture, color and festive details - and good to know it can be assembly lined easily too. TFS & Hugs
Super card Carol. Loving your greens and reds, especially those tiny little berries, bet they sparkle beautifully in real life. Love that modern June wreath too!
Love this design--perfect for mass production and mailing also. Such a beautiful wreath, and the sentiment is great in red.
