A little prize from Dorte
I decided to go for the J for Joy theme
1) Cut the Pretty Quick Nativity Scene die from black card and cut an additional rectangle of the black card to the same size.
2) Apply double-sided adhesive to the rectangle and place the die cut on top of it.
3) Place gilding flakes over the die cut and rub them in until they have a polished look. Paper piece the halo in yellow card.
4) Die cut the white frame from the same die set and mat it onto a square of black card, before placing it on the base card.
5) Stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Joy to the World stamp set in black ink.
6) Finish off by raising the nativity scene on fun foam and adding it to the card. This picture shows how the gilding flakes glow in the light when turned towards a window.
Our challenge will run until 31st May so you have lots of time to visit the blog to see what my talented teamies have to show you, and I do hope you decide to join us this time.

Your card is so gorgeous and I love the gold background you created. It shows off the black die cut beautifully! And, that is a Christmas card that really shows the reason for the season.
A beautiful card Carol, such a lovely nativity scene and fabulous background.
Have a lovely weekend.
