Christina Griffiths Dashing Through the Snow and PTI Peace, Love and Joy Christmas card

Hello everyone,

I'm pleased that we have reached the Holiday week over at Addicted to Stamps and More because I'm on my final push to get my Christmas cards finished.

I wish I could say that I'm almost there but the truth is that I haven't been as productive as I'd hoped. Last year I made 2 or 3 versions of every Christmas card I made throughout the year and was well ahead by the end of November. Why didn't I do that this year? Don't ask me, I'm obviously a nitwit!

Anyway, this is the card I made

I used a new Christina Griffiths Card Making Magic die called Dashing Through the Snow and cut some lovely blue mirror card with it. I tried cutting some Crafter's Companion glitter card first but I think the die must be too intricate for it because I didn't have much success, even when using a metal shim. I was pleased with the mirror card though so all was okay.

I also cut a square mat from the card and embossed it with a falling snow embossing folder. The sentiment was from Papertrey Ink and is appropriately called Peace Love & Joy! I stamped the words on strips, matted them and arranged them in the centre of the snowflake wreath, before finishing off with a few little glitter snowball gems.

If you are in the middle of making your holiday cards, why not join in with us this week? As always, my talented teammates have some great inspiration for you over on the ATSM blog.

I'd like to join in with
