Pinkfresh Studio Stitched Scallop Circle and Papertrey Ink Love Tags Valentine card

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge at ATSM. This time we are looking for a card for any occasion so you can knock yourself out with this one.

As we have just celebrated Valentine's Day, I thought I would share the card I made for John.

I used my new Pinkfresh Studios slimline Stitched Scallop Circle die and then die-cut a couple of Papertrey Ink heart dies to go in them. I stamped a couple of tiny flower bunches on the hearts in black and added some white gel pen dots to lighten the look. For the centre circle, I stamped a very old (2010) PTI heart tree from their Love Tags set, coloured the hearts red and then added glaze to them, which you can see better in the top mini photo.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Handwritten Borders and I finished off by stencilling a little trio of hearts in each corner.

We have an awesome Guest Designer joining us this month and I hope you will visit Katrina to see her sweet creation

As always, my talented Teamies have lots to share with you over on the ATSM blog and if you decide to join in with us this time, you can enter the gallery there too. I hope you are all keeping safe and well. We are having a lovely sunny and warm (well warmer!) day here and on my walk, I saw lots of crocus in flower and the tips of the daffodils were showing through at last. I had my first vaccine a few days ago and have to say it was all incredibly well organised and efficient. We are so lucky in our NHS and it's amazing that they have completed more than 15 million vaccines in such a short time!

I'd like to play along at

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs
Carol

Oooh ! What a beautiful Valentine's card, Carol. Love this Stitched scalloped circle die, and how you used it to frame the lovely heart die cuts and hearts bouquet. Also love very much the calligraphy of the sentiment : very delicate. Really beautiful slimline card.
Here too the daffodils are almost in bloom and the warmer temperatures will accelerate their flowering ! Have a fabulous week. x

Carol, that's the nicest slimline card I have seen. I love the white on white style and that's such a nice shade of red. I love the middle tree!

Pleased to read that you have been "jabbed" Carol. What a gorgeous card this is, those pretty frames look so much like the broiderie anglaise lace that my Mum loved to dress me and my Sister in when we were small!! A fabulous design and I bet Hubby loved it xx

Lucky John! You made him a terrific and romantic Valentine, Carol! I love the slimline design with the triple scalloped windows for you to fill with love hearts! Great sediment, too! I'm delighted to hear that you have gotten your first vaccine! Kevin had his second one on Friday and mine is tomorrow. It's a huge relief, even though we know we still need to wear our masks so we don't unintentional carry the virus to someone. It's an evil bug! Keep safe and enjoy the sunshine! And thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
