Penny Black and Crafter's Companion Christmas Peace card

Hello everyone and welcome back to the ATSM Challenge #402
I'm so happy today that we are starting to lift some of the lockdown restrictions and I was able to go for a walk with a friend and take a picnic lunch on the most beautiful sunny day. We can now have visitors in the garden and we are going to celebrate a family birthday together in the garden over the weekend. It seems sooo long since we could do this!!! I hope you get to see more of your family and friends soon too.

We are looking for Christmas cards this time and I came up with this one.

I had great fun creating this background. I started with white card and blended several blue distress oxide inks on it using blending brushes. Once it was dry, I used a snowflake embossing folder and then blended some white pigment ink over part of the snowflakes, and added some white paint splatter drops over the whole card.

I die cut the Penny Black Bountiful Berries die and added some stickles to the berries. The PB Peace sentiment was cut three times and stacked.

I still felt something was missing so I randomly rubbed on some stickles with my fingers over the top and right-hand side of the card and although hard to see in the photograph this adds a lovely sparkly finish IRL.

As always, my talented DTeamies have some great inspiration for you over on the blog and I'm delighted to say that we have the lovely Ashwini joining us as Guest Designer.

I'd like to play along at

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a good Easter.

Hugs
