John Next Door and Papertrey Ink Scene it: Bethlehem Christmas card

Hello everyone and welcome to the new ABC Christmas Challenge.

We have two fabulous challenges for you to choose from or combine this month
 and they are:

J for Joke (Humourous Image, Funny Sentiment etc)
and
K for Kraft

The prize on offer for this challenge is a $10 gift card from MFT:

I went with K for Kraft

I used Papertrey Ink Scene it: Bethlehem dies to cut the shapes in white and then coloured them with Zig Clean Colour markers and a Crafter's Companion Sparkle pen for the sky. I embossed the sand with Hero Arts sand embossing powder and then stacked the layers upon a circle of silver mirror card.

To finish off, I embossed some kraft card with a John Next Door cut and emboss folder and stamped and embossed the sentiment in white.

You'll find some great inspiration from the team over on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog and you can link up your entry over there too.

I'd like to play along at

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs

What a detailed, incredibly lovely card. The sand element in the shaker portion is flat-out fantastic and really pulls the theme of this holiday season greeting together all the more. Superb work!

Love this Christmas card scene Carol! You brought this scene to life with your coloring and I just love it. The embossing is just so pretty and draws the eye right into the scene. I can just see Joseph and Mary coming into the town of Bethlehem. Love, love, love! Hugs, Brenda
