Hello everyone, and welcome to the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.
For this card, I used my NBUS Concord & 9th stamp and die set called Heartfelt Blossoms, which I have overlooked for too long. I stamped the image and watercoloured the flowers, but used a fineliner to colour in the green frame. The die cuts out the centre to create a frame, and I stacked this a couple of times to give some dimension. The sentiment is also from the set. I first used a white background, but it looked rather stark, so I used my new Kristina Werner Splatter Texture Stamps in both colours to add some interest. I like how thinking of you cards can be used for several occasions, depending on what is put inside.
The bedroom is finally finished, and we're putting things back in there. We're having quite the tussle with me wanting to dispose of lots of 'stuff' and my husband wanting to hold onto everything!
I'd like to play along at
Thanks for stopping by,
Hugs,
Carol x

These floral frames are so pretty and I love that there are dies that do the work of laying them out for you. Thanks for enabling me, Carol! I adore this set in your painted yellow hues with the double schplatters in the background! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS!
I'm happy for you to have your bedroom freshened and finished! (I understand about the tussling; Kevin hates to part with his things, too. Dan can sell his clothes as 'vintage' after we're gone, lol!) Did you keep the pretty wall art you made or make new framed art? Hugs, Darnell
Gorgeous and such a happy card. The bright yellow flowers and spattered background design look amazing with that die cut sentiment. Thanks for sharing with A Cut Above's August Challenge.
That was a great idea to use the splatter background stamp, Carol. Really kicks this card up a notch and makes that shadow sentiment pop, fab card. My hubby and I are both packrats, sounds like your hubby's one too...maybe you should join us {evil laugh}. If ya can't beat em, etc. XOX
A beautiful floral card in bright sunny colours Carol and of course love the splattery (is that a word?) stamping, ticks all my boxes. Perfect for our theme at We Love Stamping challenge, thanks so much for joining us.

Beautiful card Carol. Amazing colouring of your beautiful blossoms. Love the yellow and bright green. xx
your card is beautiful. I love the colours. Concord & 9th is one of my favourite companies. I shall have to check out this set. The splattery background works brilliantly too. It must be great to have your bedroom done, but these things are so stressful during the process. I am with you on the disposal of stuff issue. I think doing that gets more important the older we get xx
