Belated birthday gift

Are you following the anniversary celebrations over at Papertrey Ink?

They are having a challenge each day and I am trying to play along so there may be a some very brief posts over the next few days.

Today's challenge was to make gift tags or wraps and I came up with this little belated birthday pot of sweets

I used the jar so that it will be of use after the sweets have gone and experimented with a chalkboard label cut from the PTI Placecard die. I used a chalkboard marker to stamp on the label so that it can be wiped off by the recipient and they can write on whatever they want to store at a later date. It took ages to get it to stamp properly so I wouldn't necessarily recommend trying this unless you have plenty of time to keep wiping it off and trying again but the end look is lovely.
