Papertrey Ink Year of Flowers birthday card

Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to Maria who is a new follower  this week.

Today I have a card to share for Day 6 of the Clean and Simple cards class and also for the Year of Flowers challenge over at Papertrey Ink's 6th Anniversary celebrations
Anniversary-logo
I used the Morning Glory stamp and embossed it in white before using Copics to colour it in.

I tried a new technique of stamping the main card greeting in Ocean Tides die ink and then stamping and embossing the greeting on the flower panel before matching them up. I added a little glitter to the flower centres but it isn't showing up on the photo for some reason.

I quite like how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend.

Hugs
Carol x

Wow--this is gorgeous. So much to admire--your coloring, the cool way the flowers stick out over the edge, and the way you did your sentiment.

Those flowers are just jumping right of the page. I love the way you colored them. Very unique. They have an art noveau (sp?) style to them. Super cool!

Wow, this is just gorgeous! I love the monochrome colour, and the clever dual colour stamped sentiment, what a fabulous card! I'm going to have to case this!
