Hello everyone and welcome to a new challenge over at
Christmas Card Challenges. This time we have an inspiration photo for you. Will you go with the gingerbread men, candy canes, the colours red, white and kraft, or be inspired in another direction? I came up with this card:-
I used the Papertrey Ink Phrase Play 4 die for the focal panel, cut once in kraft and once in red. I then used the Inky Doodles gingerbread border stamp from The Best Gift set and embossed it in white before doing some partial fussy cutting so it would pop against the red card. The white sentiment was also embossed and came from the PTI Candy Cane stamp set. To finish it off, I raised it with foam tape on a backing panel cut with the scallop die from MFT Blueprints 1 set. I thought it would me a good card to accompany a nice box of Christmas biscuits when we visit friends at Christmas.
Why not take a look to see what my talented team mates have to show you this week and join in with us. Remember that the theme is for inspiration only and if you don't want to use it, you can enter any Christmas card.
I'd like to play along with
