Hello everyone and welcome to the second Happy Little Stampers Case the Designer Challenge!

I loved the way Shona masked off a circle before stamping her background, and that she used her circle to showcase the delightful elephant, so I took both these ideas for my card. Two of our lovely neighbours have just had their first baby after a very long wait and I wanted to send a card to celebrate their new family and came up with with this card
I started off by die cutting a heart mask and placing it on some white card before sponging it with PTI aqua mist ink and a distress ink tool. I then stamped the sentiment from PTI Bundle of Love stamp set, before inking through the Simon Says Stamp Falling Hearts stencil, moving the stencil around to avoid going over the sentiment.
On a separate piece of card, I stamped and embossed the stork image from Avery Elle Plus One stamp set and fussy cut it before colouring with copics and a gel pen. To make him look a bit more spiffy, I gave him a little bow tie and used glossy accents to give him a shiny beak. I used a glaze pen on the little bundle, removed the mask, lightly inked over the heart to take away a little of the starkness, and raised the stork on it with some foam dots. A few die cut hearts finished it off.

Very sweet card. Great masking, perfect background knocked out of small hearts. All elements of the cards harmonize wonderfully with each other.

Wow, this is one gorgeous baby card!! Love how you used the masking idea for your heart and all those tiny hearts are so sweet. You've coloured your stork so perfectly too and I bet this card was absolutely adored!!
