Hello everyone,
It's time for the first challenge of the year over at Simply Create Too and we have some lovely new Designers joining the team so I hope you will give them a big welcome.
The theme is 'It's Party Time' and I came up with this card
I started out by making an aqua fame by cutting a stitched rectangle and then cutting my new PTI Text Block: You Did It die from the centre. I cut the same die in white and then decided to try something new for me by doing a little surgery on it to cut out the word banners which meant that I could change the orientation of the die to fit my design. I coloured the remaining stars with Copic markers and also coloured the Hooray banner. For the background I stamped streamers from the PTI Hooray stamp set in bright colours, added the white frame around it and set these inside the aqua frame.
The sentiment from MFT The Whole Herd was stamped over the panel in black ink and I added the Hooray banner in the corner. To finish it off I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the cow from the same set and glued it onto the corner before placing the whole panel onto the white base card with foam tape. I stamped a birthday greeting inside the card but forgot to take a photo!
